I can't live without my...

Today's blog post is sponsored by the hastag First World Problems. No seriously, I feel like a fool for caring THIS much about it, but today is one of those days. I'm not a coffee person - it's growing on me, but I still have to dump TONS of cream and sugar into it to even try to drink it. Tea on the other hand - holy moly. I am a sucker for black tea! And not just hot tea... I love iced tea, sweet tea, anything black tea, I'm there!
I had a really hard time getting out of bed this morning - it's probably because I starting take a medication last night to treat my skin allergies and it's supposed to knock you out. Well it DID and I felt like a ZOMBIE this morning! In fact, I was SO tired when I was taking these pictures that I accidently brewed a cup of... water. Yep - I forgot to put the K-cup into the machiene and I made myself a nice, piping hot morning cup of water. Yum.
The ironic thing is that I spent SO much time picking out a kettle when we registered. I picked, and then I changed my mind, and then I changed it again. Matt just laughed at me the whole time because all I could think about was finding the PERFECT KETLLE. Once we got our Keurig, and found out that tea k-cups existed, our kettle has been collecting dust on the top of our fridge ever since!
I mean it's just so easy. No more waiting for the water to boil. No more watiting for the tea to steep. No more messy tea-bags to handle. It's one and done. Bing bang bong. (see the image on the right? yep - that's fresh WATER I'm brewing! Oops...)
And to top it off... I'm one of THOSE girls. I put cream and sugar in my tea. It's very British of me, and I get many strange looks from my friends, but once they take a sip and try it, they GET it. It's crazy because I grew up drinking black tea with cream and sugar... and I don't even think I tried tea without cream until college. I had a phase where I didn't use cream (it was something new) but now I'm back to the way I love it, back to my roots. It's so COMFORTING. It's so good.
What is something you can't live without? I'd love to hear other obsessions so I'm not the only crazy person out there who HAS to have a cup of tea every morning!
